Board Certified Gastroenterologist
Dr. Ahmadi is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist. He completed advanced training at St. Michael’s Medical Center in New Jersey. He started his career 14 years ago and opened his independent practice in 2009. Dr. Ahmadi lives in Lakewood Ranch with his wife, Neda, and their two children. This August he opened his permanent office in Lakewood Ranch and is delighted to build a GI center of excellence in his hometown community.
His residency and fellowship trainings have been at Gainesville and Jacksonville University Hospitals, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, and Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Karjoo has 44 years experience in Gastroenterology and served as Chief of Gastroenterology for the past 26 years before moving to Florida. He sees patients with all kinds of gastrointestinal and liver diseases at Total Gastroenterology clinic in Bradenton Florida.
Dr. Steven S. Harvey was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where he attended Penn State University as an undergraduate, and subsequently earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. After completing his GI fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1996, he moved to Florida and has been providing quality care to his patients for more than 20 years. Dr. Harvey is trained for multiple procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy and hemorrhoidal banding. In addition to his formal gastroenterology training, Dr. Harvey has a deep interest in disease prevention and integrates a functional medical approach into his daily practice.
Katherine Meza is an NCCPA certified Physician Assistant currently licensed in Florida. She has previously worked as a Pediatric Primary Care PA in Tampa. She graduated from Stony Brook University in NY with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to her Career as a PA she was a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx NY. She lives in St. Pete with her husband and their pets.
